Nail Prep:

Make sure that you have all your materials and tools available and easily accessible.

  1. Clean and sanitize your hands to prevent bacteria from entering your powders.
  2. Push back your cuticles and remove them being very careful not to cut yourself.
  3. File your nail to the desired length and shape and then gently file the surface as the products need a surface to adhere to. Don’t over do it though!
  4. Apply a pH Bond or rubbing alcohol to all your nails to remove any natural oils that may prevent proper adhesion of the product or cause lifting.

Solid color application:

  1. Apply a thin coat of Base Coat to 3/4 of the nail, quickly dip into powder and tap off the excess dip powder. If you get product in your cuticle use an orange stick to clean around your cuticles.
  2. Repeat the process in all your nails.
  3. Brush off the excess powder with a makeup brush and repeat step 1, this time apply the base coat to the entire nail leaving a small space from the cuticle.
  4. You can repeat the process until you’re satisfied with the color and thickness. The more layers the stronger and durable. We recommend at least 4 dips.
  5. Apply two coats of Activator. Let it dry for about 2 minutes.
  6. To correct any imperfections, file and buff your nails until they are completely smooth.
  7. Apply activator again, wait 3-4 minutes and quickly wipe each nail with a lint free wipe or paper towel to remove any excess activator.
  8. Apply one thin layer of Top Coat in 2 to 3 quick strokes avoiding the cuticle area. This first coat will look a little matte. Do this on all 5 nails.
  9. Quickly apply the final layer of top coat for a shinier look. Make sure to cover all the areas of the nail surface.
  10. Repeat the previous steps on your other hand.
