Liquids used for Dip Powder application, brush repair and prep.
Includes: Base Coat, Activator, Top Coat, Brush Saver, and PH Bond.
Directions:
- Apply a thin coat of Base Coat to 3/4 of the nail, quickly dip into powder and tap off the excess dip powder. If you get product in your cuticle use an orange stick to clean around your cuticles.
- Repeat the process in all your nails.
- Brush off the excess powder with a makeup brush and repeat step 1, this time apply the base coat to the entire nail leaving a small space from the cuticle.
- You can repeat the process until you’re satisfied with the color and thickness. The more layers the stronger and durable. We recommend at least 4 dips.
- Apply two coats of Activator. Let it dry for about 2 minutes.
- To correct any imperfections, file and buff your nails until they are completely smooth.
- Apply activator again, wait 1-2 minutes and quickly wipe each nail with a lint free wipe or paper towel to remove any excess activator.
- Apply one thin layer of Top Coat in 2 to 3 quick strokes avoiding the cuticle area. This first coat will look a little matte. Do this on all 5 nails.
- Quickly apply the final layer of top coat for a shinier look. Make sure to cover all the areas of the nail surface.
- Repeat the previous steps on your other hand.
Ingredients:
Base Coat: ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate and polymethyl methacrylate
Activator: acetone, ethyl acetate, and dimethyl tolyamine
Top Coat: ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate and polymethyl methacrylate
Brush Saver: nitromethane and esters
PH Bond: ethyl acetate and dihydroxyethyl toluidine

The base is thin and easy to work with and the top coat is super shiny - and stays shiny throughout the manicure (2-3 weeks for me). I like that I can order these on Amazon when I am in a rush and need new liquids ASAP.
I've been learning to do my nails with dip powder and my nails never lasted more than a couple of days and now after switching to this brand they last weeks.

I have tried tons of different dip liquids from big brands, smaller brands, and nothing has worked as well as Virgo and Gem. It’s the perfect consistency but the biggest difference is that it’s nearly impossible to contaminate- some dip liquids are ruined if you get any amount of powder in them (which is virtually unavoidable unless you’re a pro). If you do your own dip nails, this is the best brand out there!
